This piece is a custom designed promotional mailer for Thomas Cooper Interior Design Studio. TC Studios was looking to create a sophisticated and memorable mailer that would resonate with new potential clients and press. We worked our way through a few different concepts and in the end we moved forward with the idea below, maintaining the tactile feel and texture that they were looking to portray. The design is separated into layered multi textural elements from the exterior of the envelope to the glow that is created from transparent sheets inside. The jet black smooth cardstock envelope is adorned with a custom laser cut return address label and custom branded faux wax seal. The envelope opens up fully to a laser cut piece of wood paper that acts as a screen separating the viewer from the room. The viewer then pulls back the screen, to reveal the welcoming photo of a room inviting room. The photo has been separated into multiple layers and printed on 3 different layers of transparent paper creating added visual depth for impact. The sheets sit tightly within the confines of the envelope edges keeping the image aligned.
